Would be more appropriate to rename it the "DAILY DONK". I played it yesterday just to remind myself why I don't play it. Sure enough after slogging it out for three hours here comes the big stack Donk to my table and first hand he bet 3 blinds on the button. I'm BB holding suited connectors(K,Q) so I call and flop the nut straight(A,10,J). He bets 2700. I raise to 5400 he shoves ALL-IN. I call. He has pocket 9's. Gets RUNNER RUNNER Jacks for the full house.

I just don't know how to play bad enough to shove all my chips into a pot with hand that is at best 8% to win after the flop.

[FONT=Franklin Gothic Medium]I never took serious shots at the Daily Dollar because of the potential time commitment to win significant money -- having a day job and all -- but hearing things like this just gives me one more reason to avoid it like the plague. . .[/FONT]

[FONT=Franklin Gothic Medium]Seems that unless you're playing $3 & up buy-ins -- maybe even start at $5 -- these days you might as well stick to freerolls if you're gonna run into the same kinds of crappy players you see in those. Below that nobody seems much concerned about losing their buy-ins. . .[/FONT]

Shit like this makes you want to reach through the computer and punch the guy in the face. I also refer to it as the Daily donkey. However, I play it semi regularly it just a bit better than a freeroll.

Just went through the agony of the daily donkey again. Had a guy covered put him all in with my Ks he called on flush draw hit it. Then again went all in with set of 2s same guy called with another flush draw and hit it this KOd me. Both times raised pot preflop and he had to shit suited cards shouldnt have been in pot to start with. Had no pot odds to call. Just another day at the daily donkey.

i hadnt played th daily dollar in a few weeks. i may play it maybe next tuesday or wednesday if i am on computer. i usually only play it on nights nothin is on tv i like. lol

I think that's the first real game many of the players enter after they have completed playing some free money games.

Maybe higher stakes help eliminate some of the donks, but I'm been railing quite a few of the $69 Sit and Gos and FT and there's a lot of suspect play there as well.
