Here is a link to an article by Phil Gordon. Here he discusses hands that you might think are good pre-flop hands to play.. but that really are not good decisions. He tells you about hands that are easily dominated and shouldn't be played. Good read in my opinion.

Thanks for sharing this article. So many players play a certain hand because it is suited, connected or just their favorite hand. They really need to read this. x

So so true, you can't raise anybody out of a hand and it is amazing how many times the crap cards will it the river and knock you out !

In one way you want other players to play those week hands and build your chips, but all to often they will hit.

I swear it's not just a matter of me playing 1000's of hands, the %'s are way off

Shouldn't be that amazing. If a fish/donk is going to play any two cards to the river, even AA will get beat nearly 1 out of 5 times.

It's always tempting to call a two to three BB blind raise with KQ or something like that. It's true those hands are very easily dominated. When you can hit twice you can make a big pot though. Already lost some tournament with AK against A10, me hitting the A on the flop and the other hand making double pair on the flop...
