Here's a little information about bodog poker, wsop 2009 and 4 excellent poker players and their point-of-view.
Patrik “3Pounder” Hoffman
Poker Immortality Awaits You at the 2009 WSOP
Poker’s largest land-based event attracts both online players and poker professionals from around the globe. Last year, 6,800-plus entrants played in the $10k buy-in Main Event. For some poker players, that’s an overwhelmingly large group to go up against and the intimidation factor can be pretty intense.
With Team Bodog it’s all about chilling with other poker players, playing some good poker, and taking in all that Las Vegas has to offer.
“Another obvious favorite that sticks out in my head is the Bodog party right before the Main Event starts,” said Patrik Hoffman, who won his way to the 2008 WSOP Main Event by playing at Bodog Poker. “That was probably one of the most fun nights out of the 40 nights I spent in Vegas!! Oh man, there were all kinds of beverages and the entertainment was something special.”
Of course every poker player at the WSOP wants to be the next Champion.
You can qualify through Bodog Poker for as little as $1 and who knows – you may win a seat at the Main Event, a prize package worth over $12,000 that includes your flight, hotel and the $10,000 buy-in.

With Team Bodog it’s all about chilling with other poker players, playing some good poker,, taking in all that Las Vegas has to offer – and walking off with some pretty cool swag.
“The 2008 WSOP was cool,” said Zac Fronterhouse, who won his way to the 2008 WSOP Main Event and played with Team Bodog. “I got all kinds of cool Bodog gear, plus a SWEET camera that I still use today.”
Zac also remembers something about being on the Bodog Bus out on The Strip and there was this guy who tried so hard to get to get on the bus that he ended up getting a good soaking.
“I can’t remember if it was last year or the year before…maybe it was the year before. Anyway, I remember being on the Bodog Bus out on The Strip in front of the Bellagio and this one guy was doing the Bodog chant – to try to get on the bus with us – and he fell into the fountain. That was the best. I’ll never forget that.”
Qualifying for the 2009 WSOP through Bodog Poker is easy, and with seats starting at just $1 it’s totally affordable, too.
Wade “soggyvag2” Woelfel

Of course every poker player at the WSOP wants to be the next Champion. Although getting to the WSOP isn’t always easy, qualifying through Bodog is. And once you’re there…well, that’s when the fun begins.

Team Bodog offers players a fun, memorable and wild WSOP experience. Of course every poker player at the WSOP wants to be the next Champion. Although getting to the WSOP isn’t always easy, once you’re there…well, that’s when the fun begins.
“The Bodog party was awesome,” said Anthony Smith, who qualified through Bodog and won his way to the 2008 WSOP Main Event. “I hung out with Charles Barkley for awhile and met Team Bodog pros David Williams and Evelyn Ng. That was cool.”
Anthony and his fiancé have plans to get married this June in St. Lucia. But if he can win a seat at the 2009 WSOP Main Event then he said he’s taking his new wife straight to Vegas, right after the wedding.
“I hope she won’t have a problem with that,” Smith added. “There are far worse places that you could spend your honeymoon, right?”
