I don't thihk I could just pick one,,,, you would have to take into consideration pre-internet boom and now, cash games verus tourament play and so on. Also hot and cold streaks. But here are my picks, Ivey and Dwan.

I like negreanu i think he is smart at the table because he talks through what the other guy has or if he is bluffing but everybody loses at the tables

The best on-line player my opinion would be Tom Dwan and Patrik Antonius. The best live player my opinion would be Phil Ivey and Phil Helmuth.
