Chelsea will look to return to winning ways in the league after drawing with West Ham and Liverpool and they have a great opportunity to do so as they go away to relegation threatened and currently struggling Southampton. Chelsea have had great success playing Southampton recently and many think that they’ll be able to continue to do so!
Arsenal will look to extend their winning run and move back into top 4 as they host a pretty decent Leicester side. A game that promises us goals features some of the best strikers in the premier league in Aubameyang, Lacazette and Vardy so it should definitely make this weeks MNF entertaining.
Liverpool will look to go top of the league for at least 2 days as they host one of the bottom 5 sides in Cardiff. Liverpool have picked up a couple of wins since going on a 4 game run without any wins and their front 3 have seemingly hit form after each bagged a goal midweek in UCL. Cardiff won their first game last week this season but this will be a much bigger test as rarely anyone expects them to get anything out of this. Liverpool have been near perfect at Anfield and they’ll hope to keep it up here.
This Monday night we have two of the big 6 sides meeting up as Tottenham host Manchester City. Tottenham have been going under the radar this season having won 7 of 9 league games and they could go above the champions with a win here. However it looks like a daunting task for Spurs as City have hit peak form and have been scoring goals and dominating teams for fun recently. A win for City would put then back up to top of the league here.
This weekend we have a great one as Arsenal host Liverpool at the Emirates as both teams will look to get a statement win! Last season these sides provided one of the best games in this exact fixture and we’ll be hoping for much of the same here. Arsenal have looked revitalised this season but they haven’t beaten a big team yet, in fact losing both of their played games against Big 6 sides so there’s still something to prove whereas Liverpool have been a little better in big games having beaten Spurs, also drawing Chelsea and Man City. Both sides are dangerous good going forward therefore we can expect an entertaining end to end game with lots of goals!
