Hull made some big summer signings as well. Hatem Ben Arfa was an interesting signing for them, but he could prove to be vital. Ben Arfa has always been a bit of an enigma of a player. It’s always been obvious that the little Frenchman had talent, but he hasn’t always been able to apply it due to a lack of work ethic. He can make fans adore him with his fantastic feet and then make them hate him because of poor decision-making or a refusal to track back. Ultimately, this could be a great signing for Hull or the Frenchamn could easily flop. Ben Arfa does bring the ability to change the game with one moment of magic, something Hull lacked.

Liverpool

Liverpool started this season in an average way. The main question was how the team is going to perform without Luis Suarez. The Reds played really good game against Tottenham, but other games were pretty average. Suarez was surely a big star, however club signed many quality players, such as Mario Balotelli, Lazar Markovic, Dejan Lovren, Alberto Moreno, Adam Lallana, Emre Can – just to name a few.
