Real Madrid
After poor start to the new season Real Madrid managed to win very convincingly two games in a row. On Tuesday Carlo Ancelotti’s men defeated Basel 5:1 in Champions League match, on Saturday they won 8:2 away game against Deportivo La Coruna. In the past El Riazor was the toughest ground for Los Blancos, even tougher than Camp Nou. However, on Saturday, Real Madrid managed to set up their new club record – they have never before scored 8 goals in an away league match. Cristiano Ronaldo managed to complete a hat-trick, it’s worth to notice that he didn’t score a single goal at El Riazor before, so it was a historic match in many ways. In a game against Elche rotations are to be expected, however Ronaldo should start in the first team, despite the fact that he struggled with injuries in the past few months. “He doesn’t need a rest. Now we really need him, he’s both physically and mentally ready to play,” said Carlo Ancelotti about his Portuguese star. Varane is expected to play again instead of Pepe, who needs more time to get back. It’s expected that Benzema will be rested, Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez should take his place. “He played in every game since he joined the club. Now he has more self-confidence, he feels well in the squad, and we feel good with him,” Ancelotti continues. It’s also expected that Illarramendi and Isco should play in this match. It should be noted that last year both Illarramendi and Isco managed to score goals in a home match against Elche.

Elche
Elche, after disappointing performance, lost on Friday to Eibar in front of its fans. “Losses are normal things for a team like us. They were better and we were unable to do anything,” said coach Escriba. Now, Elche faces a tough task as they never won at Santiago Bernabeu. In total, both sides played 22 matches in Madrid, there were 4 draws and 18 Real Madrid’s wins. It’s expected that Elche, just like their rivals, will also make rotations. First of all, goalkeeper Tyton played terrible match on Friday, he was the worst player on the pitch, so there may be change in goal.

Chateauroux vs Nancy
Surprisingly Chateauroux returned for second consecutive trip with a point 1-1 at AC Ajaccio, after previous trip they stolen a point at Angers. So slowly they become a competitive team also in away matches ... They took advantage of a defensive error from the Ajaccio and scored on a counter. Boyer is suspended, otherwise the list of injured players remained the same. On the other hand Nancy suffers a lot in attack. After Loius left the team Nancy forgot to win. Another draw at home 1-1 against Sochaux, guests leveling in the end of the game. So they have already reached 4 games without a win (three draws and one defeat). Some problems while Muratori is doubtful. Although playing well, Nancy has problems in attack. On the other side Chateauroux has a small advantage considering that they play at home on synthetic surface.
