Obviously we are all aware of the recent changes with Poker and similar online games, and the fact that they have been "outlawed".

Is there any chance that this may spread to other sports in the US - it seems that the US authorities are looking to protect their home markets.

I appreciate that the changes currently in place only impact on "sports" which are based on chance rather than "skill" (the US government's words not mine).

How anyone can argue that there is no "skill" in Poker is beyond me.

This whole restriction and U.S politics is beyond me as well. Usa, supposed to be "Land of freedom" wonder how real U.S citizens thinks about that.

Hard working american are not allowed to play poker after a days work, how does that sound ?

It does seem a little crazy that in a world dominated by the US, non-US companies are not allowed to operate in US markets. There has always been a certain degree of protectionism in the States, but there is a real danger that this could impact upon trade relations in the future.

What ever happened to the "Free" market?
