Welcome to Delray Beach ! Warm and cosy tournament of USA. Many good players came here after AO.
In this round we have Donald Young and Ramathan Ramkumar.
Donald Young (ATP 75) - American player, who recently acused white people of rascism.. That oddly strange, but anyway he was always drama king. Donald isn't perfect player or interesting, he is simple guy with normal serve, simple tennis skills, he never was very talented or superb player.
Ramathan Ramkumar (ATP 140) - Well im not aknowledge of this player, never was fan of him. Still in Q round he looked decent, strong serve, good play on court, good vision and reading. He one of indians player in TOP200 and he is still young so he can improve.
In the end - In my opinion, Young is not ready for easy wins yet (he never was), but he is defending many points here, so he must play good. Ramathan played Q round so he is already warmed up a little, atleast he will take one set.
Jurgen Zopp - Vanni Luca, two older players from different places in Europe.
Jurgen Zopp is from Estonia, he is strong blond hair sea player. Jurgen never was great, but we remember how good he played on tour, he won Challenger, went to ATP tour event. Mainly he plays from his serve he have good one, next thing he have strong body and killing shots, but also he is too slow and not very athletic.
Vanni Luca - Italian player with many stories to tell, he is one of the oldest players on tour. Vanni is Lucky looser in this tournament, he mainly survives because of hisserve ant tactics.
In my thinking Zopp curently getting in shape, but Vanni playing at home, and he is also warmed up after Q. I would say both servers will play TB and over 22,5
Tournament in Rio de Janeiro with many good players, who really miss clay courts, of course we have player from top10 here, Marin Čilič playing here. But today we are interested in two Argentian players match Frederico Delbonis and Diego Swarcman.
Let's talk about players :
Diego Swarcman (ATP 23) - Short Argentinian player, who proved that he can play everywhere even on hard fast surface, still he is a clayer type player. Interesting thing that after hard surface sesaon he seems a little bit off... Maybe he didn't get ready for clay season yet, so he struggles. Anyway he have nice serve for his height, he is really fast and good thinking guy.
Frederico Delbonis (ATP 63) - Another player from Argentina, who is different type of player, he is not that fast or mobile, Frederico likes to play on serve, he is good server with superb serve. Also Delbonis is physically strong, but his movement kinda slower. Anyway he is reall clay type player and he can play on it very successful.
In the end - These two players played many matches together, 2h2 proving that they often play 3 sets or just over 22 game's, so i guess in start of clay season, both players are equal and will do it again.
Marseille Open 250 tournament in France, so we have some good players and some qualifers out of top100. Anyway we have a TOP20 player here, he is Stan Wawrinka.
Let's talk about players :
Stan Wawrinka (ATP 13) – a older (32-year-old) member of tennis elite, champion of 3 Grand Slam titles and still a fascinating performer on-court. Possessing one of the strongest one-handed backhands on tour, Stan Wawrinka tends to play more behind the baseline. Also, fast and accurate serves give opportunities to kill the opponent with a strong volley. There’s no doubt – a swiss has frightening statistics when it comes to his career goals he had already achieved, but looking at the present we could agree that he isn’t at his best form. Due to injury, Stan can't find his optimal shape.
Ilja Ivashka (ATP 193) - 23 years old (almost 24), Belarusian will play one of biggest match of his carreer, his opponent is very strong, but Ilja is good youngster, even if his ranking is lower, he still can became top100 player. Belarusian have a nice serve, he is very fast and quick at hitting forehands. Many good qualities in his game we can see, but he is lack of stability.
In the end - Young Belarusian played Q round here so he is warmed up already, but Stan is lack of cofidence on tour, he played few tournaments but didn't find his way, so i guess thats why we have good odds. Anyway its time for him to win and this match can be very good for him.
