Andy Murray returns with a win! He defeats Mackenzie McDonald 3-6 6-4 7-5 after a grueling 2 hour 37 minute match and after wasting 5 match points before finally being able to put his opponent away. Murray will face Kyle Edmund in the 2nd round who he lost to earlier this year in Eastbourne so he'll look to get his revenge
Great to see Andy Murray win again. Gets his revenge on Kyle Edmund for the loss earlier in the year by beating him 7-6 1-6 6-4 after another 2 1/2 hour match. Andy keeps pulling through these gruelling matches which is great to see as it can only indicate that his hip is in good shape right now and his fitness levels are high. He will face Marius Copil in the third round and you'd expect now Murray to make a legit push at winning this tournament.
Murray wins another marathon match beating Copil 6-7 6-3 7-6 in 3 hours! He has really played some amazing matches in Washington. spent 8 hours in his 3 matches on the court already
Disappointed to see Murray withdraw from ATP Washington but its understandable considering what hes trying to recover from and after playing three marathon Matches already
What a nice act by Tim Puetz against Berloq. 7-6 3-2* 40-40 (after that ace) and Puetz made an ace but seemed that the ball let the net. Umpire didn't hear that at all Puetz too but Berloq was complaining that the ball surely touched the net and Puetz gave the point away besides that Berloq got BP. First time seeing that type of situation and happy that Puetz after that still won the game with 2 aces in a row.
Stefanos Tsitsipas looks a great talent. Fantastic win over Djokovic after beating Thiem in a previous round and reaching ATP Washington Semi Final in the week prior
Tsitsipas has beaten Thiem Djokovic A.Zverev and Anderson on his way to the final. odds over 4 to beat Nadal is worth a risk. What a tournament he's had
No quit in Stefanos Tsitsipas. Rafa looked like he was going to breeze by and win the trophy but out of nowhere Tsitsipas breaks back as Rafa was serving out for the match. This could get interesting
Not quite magical this week for Tsitsipas. Already eliminated from Cincinnati Masters by David Goffin. Kind of expected given the amount of tennis he played last week and only had one day of rest in between
Good job Kyrgios, was worried he was gonna blow my bet after dropping that 2nd set 0-6, but glad he got himself right and didnt lose it completely winning the match in the end
