Welcome to Madrid Open and WTA QF rounds, today we have to nice players with very different tennis style. Petra Kvitova who won her home title few days ago is playing here now in QF, how much this strong and offensive player have energy left is question. Her opponent is young Russian girl Daria Kasatkina who really like clay surface which is harder to play for strong tall players, Daria is fast as lighting and very motivated.
They are both different :
Young russian have a lot of energy she likes to run, spin the ball and play long rallies with many different shots and that is very good on this surface. On the other side Kvitova likes to play against weaker opponents and use her strong hits and serve, but on clay she can be a little tired after title and also she isn't best clayer in the world so she can struggle against spinned balls on this surface.
In my opinion - Kasatkina will provide good match, good hits and many good situation which will be to hard for Czchech player.
