Butvilas is definitely playing confidently and better in this tournament compared to a few weeks ago. His serve is solid and strong, allowing him to win easy points.
His game from the baseline is still good, aggressive and more precise on his backhand than usual.
However, I am more interested in his opponent, as his results this year have been very inconsistent and the number of withdrawals is surprising. It is likely that he is not in the best mental and physical form, and his lack of stability shows that he is vulnerable.
Although he used to be a top player, I don't see him at that level anymore and I see value in going with Edu instead.
