John Isner - Alex De Minaur

2018/07/25 20:03 Over (22.5 Games) @-139 6/10

Isner's first match since that wild 6;30 hour wimbledon semi final. He's back in Atlanta where he's been dominant over the year and he'll face de minaur. 22.5 games over seems like a reasonable bet here. Isner tends to have tie breaks in most of his matches and it's still questionable whether he's mentally right after losing that heartbreaker just a few weeks ago so de minaur will have all the chances to push this match to a 3rd set. I think there's going to minimum be at least one tie break and with that we'd only need 10 games in the other set which is very likely. expect a 7-6 7-6 Isner win

    Karen Khachanov - Casper Ruud

2-0 wins for Ruud and one of those matches was on hard court. This happened a long time ago, but Norway seems quite strong in this tournament and even though Khachanov is the most serious opponent now, he can still be confidently beaten. Karen himself had relatively weak opponents, but still dropped a set and overall the Russian doesn't seem very stable. So when Ruud catches a pretty good form, I think he has a chance to win.
