Prancūzas turėjo labai daug laiko pasiruošti šitam turnyrui, pajausti ritmą, reikia suprasti, kad jis yra be galo stabilus žaidėjas, prieš jį žaisti visiems yra labai sunku. Ispanas šiame turnyre praėjo kvalifikaciją, bet žaidė ne prieš pačius pajėgiausius žaidėjus, tai jam ne į naudą, nes dabar varžovas tikrai neparankus.
