Hajduk Split - Dinamo Bucuresti

Hajduk failed to impress in the first leg and, despite looking like a boogie man after the draw, it’s only their name who’s scary and not the current bunch of players. They’ve showed a sily defense, with some slow players who made a lot of mistakes, a really bad goalkeeper and an average midfield and attack. Stars like Sharbini or Ibricic failed to impress but maybe they could do better at home, boosted by their home crowd. Still, it seemed like every time Dinamo was stepping on the acceleration pedal, they could create havoc in Hajduk’s defense.

Dinamo, in this early start of the season, is looking like a typical “let’s score more than our opponent” kind of team. The defense is a disaster, their last game 5-3 vs Sportul being a masterpiece of not to do as a defender. Anyway, their midfield is very good, combining some fast players with some very skilled ones, having their ass covered by 2 solid defensive midfielders. Their main problem is when the ball is sent past the midfield line and the opposition’s strikers are left one on one with the defenders.

Coach Andone said the team will be somehow different than in the first leg and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them starting with 3 defensive midfielder, like they did at Balti, against Olimpia. Even so, the Moldavians managed to create some dangerous chances and they are way under Hajduk from every point of view. Hajduk needs to attack and I believe Dinamo could hit them on counter, with fast players like Torje, Ganea or Andrei Cristea. Also, I doubt Hajduk will fail to score at least one goal, so we have all the premises for an entertaining game and a bet on over 2,5 goals seems very reasonable under these circumstances. Good luck!
