Second match of ATP 1000 tournament where we will see two "Russians", which demosntrates totally different physical shape, bet i see that Mikhail have proven his point during the year in ATP.
If we talk about Aslan, he before this year didn't show anything spectacular or interesting. He was just simple Challenger and Futures player on worse day. Only in this season he performed miracle in AO and Dubai, but did he played Superb? Just lucky in my opinion. I guess all things thanks to covid?.
Mikhail on the other hand all career played in ATP level, he showed that he is good player without injuries. Yes, he have some ups and downs, but yet he is very experienced and knows how to play.
Why Mikhail?
1) Stability on tour, and he have a lot of experience in big tournaments.
2) Luck factor of Aslan must end someday and all season to keep this shape? Impossible.
3) Mikhail is getting to better shape and in this tournament he had one set and will be ready for match, while Aslan can struggle.
+5 Game's is a lot and it's not N. Djokovic, so against him it's very good odds.
