Monte Carlo, Qualification - 1. round, clay

And again our lovely Sousa is underatted and once again without any good reason, especially when he will play against same level player or even lower level i would say. We have a very good tournament and everyone want to participate in main rounds. Sousa, played quite a lot on clay in this season and in Italy he played very well against stronger opponent and almost won. Monteiro is Brasilian player who mostly plays in South America tour and there plays best, but this year wasn't so succesful, later he missed USA Hard courts and came here without playing experience in few weeks. We can say that Sousa at the moment is in better playing shape.

1) I think that players between theirself do not have and differences at the moment and giving for Sousa +4,5 is mistake, he won't give up easily and play till the end.

2) Monteiro played quite long ago, he definetly will be ready, but without playing experience that can be harder.

3) Sousa will play in this tournament not for the first time and that can help, Monteiro it will be first time.

    (Davidovich Fokina, Alejandro) @-122 10/10
The Spanish man, who looks very good, continues to amaze with how well he performs on the hard courts of America. Although, as usual, sometimes his concentration fades, but the Peruvian team is defeated. Mensik, being his first tournament, had a tough match against Boyer, but the mistakes made by the Czech man will not be given as gifts to the Spanish man anymore. I truly believe that the Spanish man will win and it's a shame that he is the favorite, but it's not just because the Czech man looks weak, but also because the Spanish man plays very well.

    (Jakub Mensik) @-105 9/10
Today's choice - the Czech Republic vs the solidly appearing Spaniard. Davidovich Fokina defeated Moutet in the first round of Toronto, but after a successful previous tournament, I believe this is where his period will end. The loss to A. De Minaur in the final required a lot of emotions. Meanwhile, Jakub Mensik took a break after Wimbledon and returned to his favorite hard court. The crucial factor is that Jakub suffered a painful defeat to Fokina in Australia earlier this year. So, two recent losses allow me to predict Mensik's first match against Peru in today's Toronto ATP Masters tournament.
