Munich, semifinal, clay.

Semifinal in Germany where no one will want to loose, because title is so close, but still we have quite interesting situation with these players, who won few hard matches which let them reach semifinal. If we talk about Ilja in general we see that he didn't play good on clay before and somehow this year for him is very lucky and he showed that he can play for now on this surface. Yet i think it's temporary and he will be back on fast courts and in the future tournaments he won't perform such well. On the other side Struff is really clay type player even if he is tall like Ivashka, but he have more advantages here and also playing at home will help him.

Reasons why Struff.

1) In General Struff' have more experience overall and on clay and his results are better.

2) h2h from last year where Struff won 2:0 in Davis, also add that Struff now plays at home.

3) If we measure energy levels we see that Ivashka played much more matches in last few weeks and also in this tournament he played two more matches and 5 more sets. Struff only played 3 matches in long time.

I think both players have great servers and we will see TB which is good for us.

    Karen Khachanov - Casper Ruud

2-0 wins for Ruud and one of those matches was on hard court. This happened a long time ago, but Norway seems quite strong in this tournament and even though Khachanov is the most serious opponent now, he can still be confidently beaten. Karen himself had relatively weak opponents, but still dropped a set and overall the Russian doesn't seem very stable. So when Ruud catches a pretty good form, I think he has a chance to win.
