Greece Challenger.
The conditions in this tournament are such that it is definitely worth trying the underdog, who is playing at home. Yesterday, I had the chance to watch some matches that surprised with a few things:
1. Automatic line calling
2. No ball boys?
3. Wind that prevents normal play.
A few words about Tsitsipas. He is a 25-year-old tennis player who sees himself more as a doubles player and does not actively participate in tournaments. However, every time he is given the opportunity to play in a Challenger tournament, he makes use of it and shows up. Being at home should give him extra motivation to fight and demonstrate his skills.
Meanwhile, Escoffier is most likely superior to Tsitsipas in every aspect, but his form is not better and his game is not as good as he would like. Currently, he is an injured player who has struggled with both injuries and poor form.
Overall, I think in the home environment, Tsitsipas can surprisingly win the first set and surprise his opponent, who is not in the best form.
