Valentova is a talented new player, only 18 years old, but already making her way through everyone. Her 6:1 6:2 defeat of Eala shows what class she has compared to the current Czech. On the other hand, Mertens struggles against weaker opponents. I don't think Mertens will be able to resist the talented Valentova.
