Varvara Gracheva - Maria Sakkari

As my colleague mentioned, Sakkari has made great progress in the game, while Ghana makes few mistakes and handles the ball well. Gracheva is also making progress, but lacks stability. In any case, both players are performing well in the tournament and have the potential to go far, especially Gracheva who could win sets by a large margin, which is why I am choosing a small total for this match.

I simply believe that Itale is a better player, having beaten Gauff which shows that her mindset is at its maximum. I am mostly convinced by her game when she defeated Jovic in the final, who did not play well, but Cociareto played amazingly and defeated the young American talent Jovic. Ann Li is progressing but I think that Itale will close the period and move on to the next stage.

Cocciaretto Elisabetta - a 25-year-old Italian, also not my favorite, because her game is like a day, always something new, but this season she has caught some good form in Italy. She won the WTA tournament in Hobart, where she defeated some good players: Ruzic, today's A.Li, Jovic. And yesterday, surprisingly, she beat Gauff.
A.Li is a player of a very similar level, maybe a bit more nervous, with a strong emphasis on hard court tennis, but considering the time of day, she has a not bad willpower that significantly compares to her game.
Another thing that I would like to mention is the final H2H match a month ago, which was won by the Italian over an American opponent, but there was a nuance that the Italian managed to persevere, which means she has stamina and energy. In the first set, A.Li was leading, but in the second, the American led 5:3 with a break and completely collapsed, although she also led 2:0 in the third set and then 4:3 with a break.
This definitely gives the Italian some added confidence.
