Team News

Liverpool: Liverpool have been hit with an injury bug defensively as Alexander-Arnold, Gomez and Matip are all injured! This means we can expect Lovren to partner up with van Dijk while Milner could likely start at RB which he’s done in one of the previous game despite Clyne returning who let’s be fair won’t be thrown in such a huge game right away. Otherwise it’s a healthy Liverpool team. We can expect Naby Keita or Fabinho to come into the midfield and play alongside Henderson and Wijnaldum with Milner potentially moved at RB. Up front we can expect Salah, Mane and Firmino all to start together.

Manchester United: Rojo, and Lindelof are both out for Jose Mourinho, while Sanchez, Smalling, Dalot, Martial, Darmian, Shaw and McTominay are all listed as doubtful. It’s an insanely huge injury list for Jose who will have to find ways to pick a good team out there against the league leaders. We can expect Ashley Young to return to start at LB for Rojo, Jones and Bailly will likely make up the partnership at CB while Valencia will continue to start at RB. After failing to impress, Pogba will likely loss his starting spot to Matic who didn’t make the trip to Valencia. De Gea will return to starting in goal also. Lingard and Rashford are both expected to return into the starting lineup for Pereira and Fred. Mata and Lukaku will likely continue to start as Martial is likely to be out.

Betting Tips and Predictions

History and recent H2H says Manchester United, but current season says Liverpool. We’re going with the present events here and are willing to back Liverpool to get the job done in front of their fans. Liverpool are currently on an absolute roll whereas Man Utd are a mess, they’re not getting results and are missing far too many key players including their best player of the season in Martial most likely which is a huge blow and that is why they won’t be able to compete. Man Utd are absolutely woeful defensively and the attacking trio of Liverpool should have a field day. Liverpool are missing players defensively but one player that is still healthy is Virgil van Dijk and he’ll get that backline organised far better than what we can expect for Man Utd therefore we’d be willing to back a Liverpool -1 AH at 1.88. This should also be quite an overish game. Over 2.5 goals is currently priced at 1.72 so it may be best to wait LIVE for the odds to rise. Liverpool alone could very well score 3 goals here with the poor defending that Man Utd have shown, but United may be able to bag a goal themselves too. The final pick is Salah to score anytime at 1.89. Despite the Liverpool attacking trio historically struggling against United, it really is time for them to step up in this fixture, United aren’t as strong defensively as they were in years past and that’s why that Liverpool attack will rinse them and Salah will get a goal due to his incredible run of form recently. Our prediction is a 3-1 Liverpool win and Salah to get on the scoresheet at least once!
