PSG Stopped Chelsea

Paris Saint-Germain has gained a significant advantage by beating Chelsea by 3-1 at the home match.

Paris Saint-Germain hosted Chelsea at the first match of Champions League quarter-final and gained the victory with a net score of 3-1.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has left the game at the 67th minute of the match due to an injury. The goals which carried PSG to the victory came from Lavezzi and David Luiz (own goal).

Although Paris Saint-Germain has entered the first half of the game with an aggressive and rapid football and scored a goal, Chelsea has gained back the control of the game at the following minutes and carried the score to the 1-1 draw.
Although both teams have performed well to changed the score, first 45 minutes has ended as 1-1.

PSG pressed, Chelsea watched!

At the second half of the game, Paris Saint-Germain controlled the game mostly. Chelsea suffered from finding the goal opportunity.

At the 61st minute of the match, Lavezzi’s free-kick resulted as a goal by bouncing from David Luiz and PSG made the score as 2-1.

Chelsea stuck into their half yard and tried to find the goal by counter attacks.
Home side found the 3rd goal at 90+3 minute of the game. Pastore pushed the ball through right-hand side and hit the ball diagonally and determined the final score of the match as 3-1.
Both teams will meet for the return-match on the 8th of April at Stamford Bridge.
