Several politicians have voiced their opinion that sports betting should be next on the list of legalized gambling options. Senator Raymond J. Lesniak filed a lawsuit on Monday morning challenging the federal ban on sports betting. Currently only four states have the right to offer sports betting, and Lesniak does not think that is fair. One Senator, Jeff Van Drew from his own state of New Jersey, praised the decision of Lesniak to move forward with the lawsuit.

People love to gamble on sports. I mean, the NCAA Tournament right now is the largest event in America in terms of gambling sports. Currently it’s only legal to bet on sporting events in Nevada, Delaware, Montana, and Oregon ....How can Congress say to the people of the state of New Jersey, 'You do not have this right that the people in Nevada do'?

That's funny shit :1orglaugh

I see no problem with sports betting. If you don’t like it, then don’t bet. We need the money and it’s better than increasing taxes. This would also create many new jobs.
